Środula Ski Slope - An artificial slope built up in Środula Park, created in 2002-2005 in former PGR fields, transformed as part of post-mine revitalization from material from the liquidation of the former Sosnowiec mine heap. Approximately one million cubic meters of land was used for construction. The highest point is almost 319.5 m above sea level. Until 2010, it was rented to a private company as Dolomity Sportowa Dolina 2. After being taken over by the city for a short period as Sportowa Dolina 2, then as the Recreation and Sports Complex at ul. 3 Maja 51 to finally function under the name Środula Ski Slope. The slope is also a viewpoint, which covers almost the entire area of Sosnowiec. There are three ski runs on the slope: large slope, length 450 m, level difference 50 m, medium slope, length 300 m, level difference 50 mm, small slope, length 150 m, level difference 5 m == Infrastructure == The slopes are served by three lifts lifts. The routes have artificial lighting. Snow cannons are installed on the slope, which draw water from a pond specially built for the slope. Below the artificial pond is a natural pond.
