Geek Charming is a 2011 Disney Channel original movie based on the novel by Robin Palmer. The film was directed by Jeffrey Hornaday and was written by Elizabeth Hackett and Hilary Galanoy. It stars from ABC's Modern Family star Sarah Hyland and Matt Prokop. It premiered on November 11, 2011 on Disney Channel, January 27, 2012 on Disney Channel (UK & Ireland ) and January 28, 2012 on Disney Channel Asia. Plot
Dylan Schoenfield is a snobby, rich and inconsiderate 16-year-old girl who goes to Woodlands Academy. She has the hottest boyfriend, the most popular friends, and is determined to win the title of " Blossom Queen." Josh Rosen is a film geek and aspiring filmmaker and has a crush on Amy, Dylan's ex-best friend. He is also the president of the school 's Film Club.
Josh wants to make a documentary for the Puget Sound Film Festival. At first he wants to make a film about robots and aliens, but his film teacher recommends him to do another genre if he wants to win the film festival.
