Merciful Jesus Church in Leżajsk - a Roman Catholic affiliate ( school ) church of the Holy Trinity parish in Leżajsk at Rynek (but with address ul. Jarosławska 2).
The construction of the temple was preceded by the purchase of land for the church in 1550 from Queen Bona. Built in 1828–1832 as a Greek Catholic church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary and used until 1945. After being burned in 1874, it was rebuilt a year later, and then thoroughly restored in 1900, when it received its current appearance and new interior design. After the war, in the years 1946-1955, it was first converted into a subsidiary ( school ) church of the Holy Trinity Parish in Leżajsk, and then into a warehouse. From 1981, it again became a Catholic affiliate ( school ) church. Merciful Jesus.
The present church is a small, single-nave building with a narrower presbytery, kept in an eclectic type. Facade with apparent central projection, terminated with an attic wall with three gables.
