The tournament is organised by All England Lawn Tennis Club and International Tennis Federation.
Roger Federer was the defending champion in the Gentlemen's singles, but lost in the quarterfinals to Kevin Anderson. Garbiñe Muguruza was the defending champion in the Ladies ' singles, but lost in the second round to Alison Van Uytvanck.
