Gossip Girl - American youth series based on a series of novels of the same title written by Cecily von Ziegesar. He was created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage and made his debut on September 19, 2007 on The CW. The narrator of the series is a blogger Gossip with an unknown identity (Kristen Bell's voice); she describes the scandalous lives of students at a private school on the Upper East Side in New York. The series begins with a return to Serena van der Woodsen's Upper East Side (Blake Lively) from a mysterious stay at a boarding school in Connecticut. No one knows why she left, and why she came back. Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), the queen of Constance Billard, and at the same time was Serena's friend, is not happy about her return, unlike her boyfriend, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford), who not only sympathized with Serena. In each season of the series, viewers will learn the relationship between Blair and Chuck (Ed Westwick), initially a villain and the romance of Serena with Dan (Penn Badgley). The series ends on the 6th season, when viewers find out who is the gossip. The last scene shows the fate of the main characters 5 years later.
