Seychelles Aleksandretta (Psittacula wardi) - a species of medium-sized extinct bird from the Eastern parrot family (Psittaculidae). It was endemic to three of the Seychelles islands. Its representatives resembled larger alexandretta (Psittacula eupatria), were distinguished by smaller sizes and the absence of a pink collar on the collar. It is believed that the killing of these birds by farmers and owners of coconut palm plantations contributed to the extinction.
