Kuhl's hybrilla (Pangio semicincta) - a characteristic aquarium fish with an elongated trunk. Occurs in the regions of the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo. It reaches a length of 8-10 cm. Long, ribbed, laterally flattened orange-yellow body. Across the torso covered with dark stripes. Eyes covered with transparent skin and a small spike underneath. Three pairs of mustache near the mouth. Also occurs in breeding albino. Females slightly more rounded. Fish calmly disposed. Although they are not shoal fish in nature, they are found in clusters, therefore 5-6 pieces are recommended for the aquarium. Activities show at night, they like to bury themselves in the ground during the day or hide in caves and caverns.
