Light bulb, incandescent lamp - an electric light source in which the body is a strongly heated fiber flow made of a material that is difficult to melt (originally graphite, currently tungsten). The tungsten wire is placed in a glass bulb filled with a noble gas mixture (eg argon with a 10% nitrogen content) or a vacuum. The first incandescent lamps were constructed in the mid-nineteenth century.
