Dolphins animals. Dolphins inhabit the seas of both hemispheres and many rivers of the equatorial zone. They often live in clusters (herds) from several to several hundred individuals, with a clearly marked hierarchy. They take long journeys. They have the ability to echolocate, or at least one species also for electroreception. They communicate by means of sounds, referred to as the language of dolphins. The dolphin sleeps, floating in the water at a depth of about 50 cm, with one eye open. Breathes ascending every 30 sec. to the surface without waking up. Dolphins often hunt for schools. Sometimes they even hunt with sharks. They feed on fish, squid and crustaceans. Their main natural enemy is the orc. Dolphins.
